Salvation
Have you thought about your eternal destiny? If you are not certain of where rather you are saved or not then I beg you not to gamble with your everlasting soul and put off receiving Christ any longer. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”-2Peter 3:9.
Would you come to repentance today, by turning from your sins and turning to Jesus Christ? Jesus made it simple for us by paying for our sins some two thousand years ago when He shed His blood for us on the cross. When Jesus was on the cross, He cried out, “It is finished.” The payment for sin had been paid for once for all.
The facts are:
1) You are a sinner
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” -Romans 3:23
2) Your sins have separated you from God.
“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” -Isaiah 59:2
3) You must make a choice between the wages of sin or the gift of God.
“For the wages of sin is death…” -Romans 6:23a.
“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” -Romans 6:23b.
4) Eternal life is a gift.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” -Ephesians 2:8
5) In order to posses this gift of eternal life, you must receive it.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” -John 1:12.
Will you come to Christ now and receive Him by faith with a repentant heart?
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” -Romans 10:9-10.
If you would turn away from your sins and turn to Christ now putting your complete faith in Christ as your Saviour -God will give you this gift of eternal life.
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” -1John 5:13.
